The Dauntless Convergence surprises the giant trophy BUG!

In recent days, the BUG, which is a “maximizing” item in the VALORANT, has aroused debate in the playing community. The anomaly BUG was found to have triggered when it was equipped with the skin of a particular weapon. The game skin development team responded quickly by announcing a temporary ban on the skin of the weapon and committed to repairing the problem in the 11.06 version of the patch to be released next week.

The Dauntless Compact, a multi-player tactical FPS game developed by boxing companies, landed on the PC/PS5/Xbox Series X|S platform, and a hand-to-hand version of the Dauntless Compact, developed by telegraphs, came online at the beginning of this month, in which players fought in groups of five. The attacking party will need to place an “explosive device” in the designated area of the map and detonate the explosion, while the defensive party will have to do its utmost to prevent the installation or removal of the device.

On 5 September, the official launch of the 2025 Champions’ Skin was held in commemoration of the “VALORANT Champions Tour” global annual event of the Dauntless Compact. The series consists of mob rifles, close combat weapons, hangers, business cards, spray paints and dynamic accessories.

The BUG was triggered by the dynamic trophy of the series, the official purpose of which was to provide the players with interactive pleasures through decorations, mainly for displays through exclusive animations during or after combat. For competitive fairness reasons, the design will ensure that only the holder can see the full animated effect and minimize interference with other players.

But the BUG is able to make the trophy model soar and even completely cover up the player role. Under certain conditions, this anomaly can create a serious barrier to the vision of other players and directly affect the fairness of the game. The player community feedback indicated that the BUG was linked to the “Oxy Box” near-war skin in the “By-Court-to-Court” package, which had come online on 7 November 2024, and that it was suspected that both were equipped to trigger the BUG.

On YouTube and Twitch platforms, well-known anchor Grim shared a video of the war with his colleague Darrinval, and commented “VALORANT has built a hide-and-seek model”. In the video, Grim, armed with an Olympian boxing boxing, triggered a mega-intensity effect that caught his opponent by surprise.

In response to the BUG that appeared in the game, Preeti Khanolkar, the gaming product manager, responded quickly: “We did say trophies were very clever, but I didn’t think they would exaggerate! I’m so sorry!” At the same time, she announced that Olympian fists had been temporarily banned and confirmed that the problem would be permanently repaired in next week ‘ s 11.06 version.

The event revealed dynamic accessories that were originally restricted to the holders and unexpectedly affected the game experiences of other players. While the giant trophies will not overshadow the holder’s own vision, their visual interference with third parties needs to be addressed, and the player community is closely following the restoration effects of next week’s update.
